GratiTuesday – January 22nd

Hello Yogi-Friends ~ Another GratiTuesday – Yay! Imagine this: You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you, making you spill your coffee everywhere. Why did you spill the coffee? You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup. Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea. The point is whatever is inside the cup, is what will spill out. Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which will happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It is easy to fake a cup-o-joy, until you get rattled. So, we might ask ourselves, “What is in my cup?” When life bumps into me, what spills out? Joy, gratitude, peace? Or is it anger, bitterness, or harsh words that spill out? Ultimately, you choose what is filling your cup. Consider consciously filling up your cup with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, affirmation, kindness, and compassion for yourself and others.
