Hello Yogi-Friends ~ Happy GratiTuesday! Or is it not a happy GratitTuesday? Living an authentic life, being real, allowing what IS to BE as it IS, may require us to also BE with unpleasant or uncomfortable emotions and experiences. Came across a Good Housekeeping article that really caught my attention, “It was an Ingratitude List that Saved Me”, by Liz Brown [https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/life/a45386/gratitude-lists-dont-work/]. Usually on Tuesdays we invite one another to express one thing – in the comments field – for which you are grateful… AND this Tuesday perhaps we tap into our authentic selves to uncover what really IS for us – good, bad, or ugly – and Share that sentiment as a post on your favorite social media site. GratiTuesday – January 22nd

Hello Yogi-Friends ~ Another GratiTuesday – Yay! Imagine this: You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you, making you spill your coffee everywhere. Why did you spill the coffee? You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup. Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea. The point is whatever is inside the cup, is what will spill out. Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which will happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It is easy to fake a cup-o-joy, until you get rattled. So, we might ask ourselves, “What is in my cup?” When life bumps into me, what spills out? Joy, gratitude, peace? Or is it anger, bitterness, or harsh words that spill out? Ultimately, you choose what is filling your cup. Consider consciously filling up your cup with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, affirmation, kindness, and compassion for yourself and others.
